🌟 Exciting Week Ahead at #RotaES! 🌟

• LABOR DAY: We hope everyone enjoyed a lovely and relaxing three-day weekend celebrating Labor Day! It’s so wonderful to take a break and recharge. 
• PREKINDERGARTEN 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL: The first day of preschool is TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 3rd! 🎒✨ Doors will open at 7:50 a.m., so get ready for an exciting adventure! 
• BOO-HOO BREAKFAST: Parents, after dropping off your little ones, you are invited to the PTSA-sponsored Boo-Hoo Breakfast tomorrow starting at 7:50 a.m. in the school cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to connect with other prekindergarten parents while enjoying some delicious coffee and treats! ☕️🥐 Don’t miss this chance to mingle and make new friends as we all embark on this school year together!
• SCHOOL DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES: We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to all parents for ensuring a seamless drop-off and pick-up process as we kick off the new year. Remember, these procedures also apply to our prekindergarten students. More details about these procedures can be found in the attached information. Thank you for your cooperation!
• BINGO NIGHT: Join us for a fun-filled Back to School Bingo Night this Friday, September 6th, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building! This event is FREE and packed with exciting prizes, so bring your whole family along for a fun night out! Plus, food will be available, ensuring you stay energized throughout the games! 🎉
• SCHOOL PICTURES: Get ready to say cheese because school pictures are approaching the week of September 9th! Here’s the schedule: 
  • September 9th: 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades
  • September 10th: 2nd and 4th grades, along with PSCD
  • September 11th: Prekindergarten and Kindergarten
  • Make-up pictures will be on September 12th. Don’t forget to bring your best smile! 📸
• 9/11 EVENT: On Wednesday, September 11th, students will participate in a school-wide ceremony honoring 9/11. This meaningful event will take place at approximately 8:30 AM in the courtyard, and all parents are warmly invited to attend and honor this important day with us. 
• MONTHLY PARENT SUPPORT GROUP FOR CHILD MENTAL WELLNESS: Feeling uncertain about how to support your child’s mental health? We’re here to help! Join our monthly Parent Support Group on Supporting You & Your Child’s Mental Wellness on the first Wednesday of each month, starting September 4th, from 8:15 to 9:30 AM in the EDIS Building Conference Room. In just 1 hour and 15 minutes, you’ll learn effective strategies to support both yourself and your child. Topics will include recognizing mental health “red flags” and improving family communication. For more information, please refer to the attached flyer.
• YEARLY & MONTHLY SCHOOL CALENDARS: Stay informed and prepared by checking out the Rota ES annual calendar along with the September calendar, and lunch menus.
• SCHOOL HOURS: Just a reminder that the school doors open at 7:50 a.m., and classes begin at 8:05 a.m. Please ensure late arrivals are signed in by a parent to keep things running smoothly. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. daily. Contact us at 856-82-0220 (off-base) or 682-0220 (DSN). Dismissal is at 2:35 p.m. daily, except on Wednesdays when students will be dismissed at 1:35 p.m. Please arrange childcare accordingly.
