Toro Parents,
Welcome to this week's updates from Rota Elementary School! We have some important events and announcements to share with you:
- NATIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELING WEEK. Join us in marking National School Counseling Week! A special shoutout to our own Dr. Hartley and Ms. Uran, whose tireless efforts and nurturing presence ensure that our elementary school students have the support and resources they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Thank you for being our children's steadfast advocates and cheerleaders!
- MEMORIAL EVENT:Â On Wednesday, February 7th, at 1:40 p.m., both students and staff will take part in a special ceremony to honor and cherish the memory of our former Art teacher, Ms. Oliverson. During this event, students will have the opportunity to place painted rocks around an olive tree located in the courtyard near the main office. Parents are welcomed to join us for this event.
- PARENT INTERVIEWS: Parents are invited to provide input at the Rota School complex as we host an Engagement Review Team from Cognia, an international accreditation agency, visiting on Wednesday, February 21st and Friday, February 23rd. A 30-minute meeting has been arranged for parents to meet with the Cognia team on Wednesday, February 21st at 4:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB).
