We want to remind you of our BINGO Night happening tonight at 4:30 p.m. Join us for an evening of fun with free entry, fantastic prizes, and delicious food available for purchase in the Multi-Purpose Building (MPB). UPCOMING SCHOOL EVENTS

  • Turkey Trot Fun Run Is On Next Friday! Don't miss out on registering your children for the FREE Turkey Trot Fun Run on Friday, November 22nd! We're halfway towards our fundraising goal, so let’s keep the momentum going to support our amazing students and school. Participants will have a chance to win the legendary popsicle party prize!   • Join the Outdoor Play Club at DGF Elementary! Starting November 19th and continuing through April 24th, students in grades 1-2 can join the Outdoor Play Club for weekly fun and skill development! Meetings will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:35 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in Mrs. McCormick's classroom (room #85) before heading outside (weather permitting). Space is limited, so parents will be notified of their child’s membership status by November 15th. Please ensure timely pickup to maintain membership.   • It's Not Too Late to Celebrate Our Teachers! 🌟 This month of gratitude is the perfect opportunity to recognize the incredible impact our teachers have on our children’s lives. A gratitude table is set up in the main office with cards for heartfelt messages. You can also submit your "Thank You" notes online using this link: Thank You Note Form. Let’s come together to express our appreciation! 🍂❤️
  • NOW HIRING Educational Aides and Substitute Teachers! Join our team and support military-connected students! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals for entry-level federal positions that offer professional growth, flexible part-time schedules, competitive wages, and benefits—all without a college degree required!   • Get Involved with the Rota Elementary PTSA! Are you interested in getting more involved at DGF Elementary this year? We are looking for passionate volunteers for several positions, including President, Membership Coordinator, Yearbook Coordinator, and Photography Coordinator. SCHOOL & COMMUNITY SUPPORTS

  • Lemon Chat Our Military Family Life Counselors are offering small group sessions for students in grades 1-5 from September 2024 through June 2025. For more information, please contact Barbara Angstadt at 641-482-865 or Roneiko Henderson at 624-262-856.
  • Family Deployment Group Join us for the Family Deployment Support Group hosted by Military Family Life Counselors on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:50 PM to 4:00 PM in the DGF Elementary Library. Upcoming meetings are planned for November 21 and December 19, 2024. For additional details, please reach out to Barbara Angstadt or Roneiko Henderson.
  • Feeling Overwhelmed Supporting Your Child's Mental Health? Join our free monthly support group! Learn practical strategies and discover helpful resources while managing your own stress. The group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. in the EDIS Building Conference Room. Call 727-4029 to reserve your space.

  • School Registration Inquiries For assistance with school registration, please contact the registrar via email at rotaes.registrar@dodea.edu. We’re here to help!
  • Yearly & Monthly School Calendars Stay up to date by reviewing the Rota ES annual calendar along with this month's calendar. Parents are encouraged to check the November calendar for important upcoming events and activities.
  • School Hours Doors open at 7:50 a.m.; classes start at 8:05 a.m. Late arrivals must be signed in by a parent. Office hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily. Contact: 856-82-0220 (off-base) or 682-0220 (DSN). Dismissal: 2:35 p.m. daily, 1:35 p.m. on Wednesdays. Please arrange childcare accordingly.
